Beach camps in Rishikesh are located on National Highway 58 or the Badrinath highway. The beach camp is on a beatiful sandy beach and is ideal for anyone looking to completely detach themselves from the modern world. Since you will be camping right on the banks of holy ganges, the government has laid out certain restrictions pertaining to the electricity (only lanterns are used) and toilets (waterless/eco-friendly). You must keep in mind that this is an adventure trip. The camp is ideal for nature-lovers, corporate groups on a budget, college groups, boys-only groups.
Riverside Jungle Camp in Rishikesh is located in the Neelkanth Valley on the Neelkanth Mandir Road, which runs parellel to the Badrinath Highway. The camp is on a shallow river which is a tributary of Ganges. The Ganges and a sandy beach is just a five minutes walk away from the camp. However, the river flowing through the camp is safe and very enjoyable. The camp has proper running water toilets and electricity connections making it an ideal destination for one and all. The camp also has a conference hall with a capacity to accommodate over 100 persons.
